Earley Adopt-a-Street Initiative (EASI) – an excellent joint scheme by the Maiden Erlegh Residents’ Association and Earley Environmental Group, covering the whole Earley. The aim is to fight the litter-dropping across our town by urging residents to take responsibility for litter-picking along their own road (or maybe a nearby footpath). Earley and Woodley Stroke Club – a local group offering friendship and support to people in the Reading
area who have had a stroke. Meetings are on Tuesday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Our Lady of Peace Church Hall (Earley crossroads), Wokingham Road, Earley, Reading RG6 7DA.. For more information phone 0118 9693000 .
Hardy Plant Society – Berkshire Group – well known organisation for gardeners and plantsmen. They hold regular meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, plus other special events. Meeting are at St Peter’s Church Hall, Earley and non-members are welcome to attend on payment of £3 at the door. They have their own website at www.berkshirehps.org.uk
Pang Valley Ramblers – one of our local walking clubs and a part of the Ramblers Association, with some members based in Earley. They organise regular group walks around the area and anyone is welcome to come along, whether a member or not. More information on their website at www.pvramblers.org.uk
